SVRS-31 is named in the catalog but has no model page of its own.
Product functions
One valve on the pump, three jobs.
Every Breather mounts directly to the pump. Remove the suction side drain plug and install the SVRS in its place. All of the valves are designed for 0.5 to 10.0 horsepower pumps on hot tubs, spas, fountains, wading pools and residential or commercial pools.
Anti-entrapment
In a high vacuum occurrence, ambient air rapidly fills the pump suction side. The pump loses prime and the entrapment releases quickly. The electronic models also trigger a limit switch that turns the circulation pump off at the same moment.
Surge suppressor
The valve arrests the sudden vacuum rise while the seal is momentarily depressed, allowing quick air gasps. It protects the pump and filtration equipment against shocks and vibrations during pump start-ups, for reduced maintenance costs, less downtime and longer equipment life.
Drain winterization
Remove the SVRS until all of the water in the pump is fully drained.

Vacless Safety Vacuum Release Systems provide a crucial layer of certified protection against body and limb entrapment and should always be used in conjunction with an approved anti-entrapment drain cover. Nothing replaces parental supervision, but having multiple layers of protection is the best way to prevent main drain entrapments.
